I don’t know about you, but in the summer, I am always looking to make quick meals that don’t require me to turn on my stove and take as little time as possible. Living in the Midwest, I want to maximize my time outside, swimming and hanging out in my garden. I’ve been using ckbk A LOT lately to quickly find recipes for specific ideas that I want to make when I don’t want to go and pull out my cookbooks. I’ve pulled together a list of crock pot recipe books and their most popular recipes that people are cooking from. Keep reading below to see some surprise Instant Pot recipe book suggestions too!

I Love My Slow Cooker by Beverly LeBlanc
This cookbook is pretty great because it features so many recipes inspired by international dishes. Massaman Beef and Potato Curry? Chicken and Smoked Ham Gumbo? It has such a wealth of information and a lot of great recipes that are perfect for setting in the morning and forgetting until evening!
Slow Cooking Beyond Meals: 45 No-Fuss Recipes That Will Make You Rethink Your Slow Cooker by Drew Maresco
I have yet to use a slow cooker to make ‘baked’ goods, but this book by Drew Maresco features recipes like that. There aren’t a ton of main course meals, but if you’re looking to make some breakfast or dessert and don’t want to fire up the oven (100% me in the summer), then this is one of the unique crock pot recipe books you need to check out.

This entire book has 1400 recipes, so anything that you can think of is in it. It even has crock pot drinks and Welsh Rarebit, so definitely check that out.
Bonus: Converting Instant Pot Recipes to Simple Crock Pot Recipes
I’m including recipes from two Instant Pot recipe books since in my household, we use the recipes for each interchangeably. To convert these to slow cooker, for most of them, I would cook on low for 6–8 hours, or on high for 4–6 hours. The nice thing about the slow cooker is that so many recipes are better the longer they are in there, so you can play around with it!
Everyday Instant Pot Cookbook: Meal Planning and Recipes for Every Cook and Every Family by Bryan Woolley
If you’re new to the Instant or looking for some basic suggestions on what to cook tonight, this Instant Pot recipe book is perfect for that. These top recipes listed here really show what you do with the Instant Pot.
Instant Pot Asian Pressure Cooker Meals: Fast Fresh and Affordable by Patricia Tanumihardja
This is my favorite and one of the best Instant Pot recipe books that’s in the ckbk collection. It features Asian food from all over the continent, not just one particular region. The recipes are straight forward and easy to follow.
